History of The Fellowship of Jesus Christ Church International
The vision for this ministry was given to the late Apostle Ernestine Jones, while living in Germany in 1986. In a vision, God revealed to her that there was a need for a church in Germany that would bare His name, converting, teaching, and training men and women in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “He was preparing an army of men and women, regardless of race, color, creed, and social or ethnic background, that would deny themselves, to carry the word of truth, for the up-building of the kingdom of God on earth.” On April 2, 1989, this vision became a reality in Kaiserslautern, Germany. The Fellowship of Jesus Christ was formed to train leaders; instilling that faith is the key that opens the door of opportunity in Jesus Christ. It was founded by Jesus Christ, co-founded by Ernestine Jones. The mission was to establish a house of purity, prayer, praise, power, worship, and proclamation, converting souls, teaching disciples, and training leaders to be sent forth into the four corners of the world, to every country, city, and state.
A second Fellowship of Jesus Christ Church International was established in Conyers, Georgia on September 6, 1998, under the leadership of Pastors Michael and Vanessa Loyd. As co-founding members of the first Fellowship in Germany, they carry forth the mandate of a teaching ministry. The Conyers Fellowship International is a Christian Life Center dedicated to teaching, equipping, and edifying the saints of GOD for the work of the Ministry, by the manifestation of the gifts of the fivefold ministry as the Holy Spirit leads (Eph 4:11-12).
We carry out the vision through various ministries. As servant leaders, we train our leadership to serve God first, and His people. We teach the body of Christ to live a lifestyle where they have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through daily fellowship. We service our community through forums that deal with issues of our legal system, housing, health, and more. Our outreach ministry follows the word of God when it says, “go out into the highways and compel men to Christ.” We sponsor youth jams, YEP summer youth sessions, and many other youth activities in this ministry. Our ministry host activities for every aspect of life, from marriage ministry and family fun nights, to spirit filled bible study, Prayer Walks, and ministry training sessions, we empower families and individuals to live totally sold out to Christ.
We believe that the Bible is the Word of GOD, and that it is the whole truth and applicable to every area of our lives; we strive to be doers of HIS Word and not hearers only, and to encourage others so that we all live victoriously in Christ Jesus together!
